Dear TJMCOAA alumni:
We are pleased to announce the call-for-speakers for the second TJMCOAA-Wuhan Union Hospital Young Scholar Forum. Last fall's inaugural program was a great success. A group of four speakers including Dr Lanjing Zhang visited and lectured at WUH. Their speeches were well received and as the result, some collaborative efforts were initiated.
With support from President Sijiu Steven Shen, TJMCOAA and Wuhan Union Hospital (WUH) are co-sponsoring this event again. The goal of the program is to help establish and strengthen connections and foster academic collaborations between overseas alumni and the WUH, and to open new opportunities for the personal career growth of young scholars.
Compensations: Local lodging, meals, and an honorarium (approximately $500).
Tentative Dates: Nov 5 and 6, 2014.
Who should apply: The alumni interested in working at or collaborate with WUH.
Speaker number: ~ 4
Qualifications: TJMC alumnus younger than 45 years old.
If you are interested in this opportunity, please e-mail your CV to Drs. Gangjian Qin (g-qin#at#northwestern.edu) or Lanjing Zhang (lzhangmd#at#gmail.com). Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions or suggestions, and feel free to pass along this announcement to any alumnus with a potential interest.
Thank you for your support!
Warmest regards,
Gangjian Qin, MD
