Dear TJMCOAA alumni:
Starting from this year (2011), Dr. Ke-qin, Hu, our current president and Board Trustees have decided to set up an annual awarding system for our alumni, who had a great contribution with their time and financial donation, excellent service and special commitment and readiness to help and support our alumni and growth of TJMCOAA. The details of awards can be found in the attached file or below.
The process of this year will be divided into 4 phases (one month)
1. Nomination period by all TJMCOAA alumni (April 21st to May 5th)
2. Voting period by Board members (May 6th to 18th)
3. Decision time (summarized results sent to board trustees) (May 19th -20th)
4. Announcement by current President (May 21st)
Each nominator should provide a brief description or explanation of the nomination. That will help understand the nominee's contribution and qualifications. We strongly suggest that nominators should have personal communication with nominee(s) to seek permission. In case without permission, awards committee will contact nominee(s) directly.

同济医大海外校友会奖励和表彰条例
第一条 为了奖励和表彰同济医大海外校友在各项活动中做出突出贡献者，充分调动广大同济医大海外校友的积极性和创造性，进一步促进同济医大海外校友与母校的交流，特制定本条例
第二条 本条例规定的奖励和表彰种类为历任主席纪念奖, 优秀服务人员奖, 特殊贡献奖
1.历任主席纪念奖: 对每一任卸任主席, 由海外校友会颁发纪念奖
2.优秀服务人员奖: 每年一次, 1-2名, 主要奖励为校友会作出优秀服务的人员(包括服务于总会各部门, 地方分会或专业学会者)
3.特殊贡献奖: 每年一次, 名额不限, 至少一名. 主要奖励作出特殊贡献的校友, (如为同济医大海外校友会捐款最多者; 与国内母校合作申请获得科研课题者; 与国内母校合作科研课题获奖者….)
第三条 校友会在需要时可经理事会讨论通过增加设立其他奖励和表彰种类
第四条 奖励和表彰提名由本会秘书处主持. 于每年二月至三月中进行. 校友会会员均有权提出有关人选. 提名需附有关事迹说明.
第五条 提名交校友会秘书处搜集汇总. 评选结果由校友会执委会成员于每年三月底投票决定
第六条 奖励公布时间为每年四月. 除获奖者外, 校友会主席亦将函告被提名者本人以示鼓励
第七条 历任主席纪念奖由同济医大海外校友会现任主席与同济医学院院长共同签发. 其他奖项由同济医大海外校友会现任主席颁发
第八条 本条例经同济医大海外校友会董事会长批准后公布实施
第九条 本条例修改与说明由同济医大海外校友会董事会负责
